Our Approach
A Journey of Learning from Early Childhood through High School
At Marian Baker School, our academic program is designed to nurture the whole child — from their earliest years through graduation. Through a student-centered, bilingual, and internationally minded approach, we empower learners to grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support each stage of development, combining strong academics, social-emotional learning, and real-world application to prepare students for success in a global society.

Programs Designed for Every Stage of Growth
From the first steps in early childhood to the final transition into university, each MBS program is intentionally designed for the way children learn at that stage.
Ages 2–5
Early Childhood
The Kitten’s Den. A play-based, English-rich environment where our youngest learners take their first confident steps into school life — building social-emotional, motor, and early academic skills in a safe and nurturing space.
Grades 1–5
Elementary School
A supportive, inquiry-based program where students build strong bilingual foundations in literacy and numeracy and develop curiosity, confidence, and independence.
Grades 6–8
Middle School
A time of growth and exploration where students deepen academic skills, develop IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) habits, and build the confidence and responsibility needed for high school and beyond.
Grades 9–12
High School & IB Diploma
A rigorous, college-preparatory program that culminates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12), with leadership opportunities through Model United Nations (MUN) and AASCA activities.
A Continuum of Learning
At MBS, we take pride in being a preparatory school dedicated to ensuring that our students are fully equipped for their college journey. Our longstanding tradition of senior students applying to both local and international colleges and universities reflects the strength of our academic programs — a testament to our commitment to excellence and student success.
From Early Childhood through High School, Marian Baker School provides a coherent and connected educational journey.
