All school charges are stated in US dollars and are payable in Costa Rican colones (CRC) at the official Costa Rican selling exchange rate at the time of payment.

Payment Due Dates
- 12 payments / 10 payments: First payment due July 5th. Consecutive payments are due within the first 10 days of each month.
- 2 payments: Due July 5th and January 5th.
- An additional 3% discount is applied to all advanced, full-year payments.
One-Time Fees for Incoming Students

1. Due before the admissions testing appointment. The fee will be deducted from the first tuition payment when the child is accepted.
2. To confirm attendance and reserve your child’s space in the program, this fee must be paid within two weeks of receiving notification of acceptance.

Yearly registration covers the resources and services every MBS student uses throughout the school year:
- All textbooks, workbooks, and consumables
- Use of the Makerspace, internet/email services, and access to physical library and science labs
- Basic school materials needed throughout the year
- Accident insurance with Instituto Nacional de Seguros (covers up to ¢2,000,000 yearly)
- Medical emergency services
- Snacks & lunch for our Early Childhood Programs

Important Notes & Policies
- Currency
- School charges are stated in US dollars and payable in colones at the official Costa Rican selling exchange rate at the time of payment.
- Parent Association
- $10.00 of the registration fee for each family is allotted to the Parent Association for MBS projects.
- Overdue payments
- All overdue payments are subject to an additional charge of 3.2%. Failure to pay results in suspension of the student from classes until payments are up to date.
- Sibling discounts
- Tuition discounts are offered to families with more than one child enrolled in the same school year. Contact our Admissions team for current details.
- Annual updates
- Tuition and fees are reviewed and published annually. Figures on this page apply to the 2026–2027 school year.
